In Pakistan’s Karakoram range, Japanese rock climbers Yudai Suzuki, Genki Narumi, and Hiroki Yamamoto successfully ascended Hasho Peak II, also called Ilford Peak, which is 6,080 meters high.
Vice President Karrar Haidri of the Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) greeted the team upon their arrival, congratulated them on their summit, and talked about potential future cooperation.
The climbers appreciated Pakistan’s distinctive mountain vistas and said that climbing peaks in the Karakoram was a magnificent experience.
IFMGA-certified mountain guide Genki Narumi pledged to work with ACP to assist in mountain guide training in Pakistan.
