Jodie Foster reminisced on her early years and talked about how she has always had a strong bond with movies.
Jodie provided her thoughts on the latest season of the popular television show True Detective: Night Country in her most recent interview with ABS-CBN News.
The American actress and director said, “I just fell in love with it after reading the first episode of our season.”
The actress continued, saying, “To me, that is really rare—just falling in love with that story, with the things that intrigued me when I needed to learn.”
The 61-year-old director opened up later in the confessional about how much she loved the flicks.
“Movies are so important to me, growing up,” she revealed. Very crucial as a benchmark to enable me to view myself in many contexts, scenarios, and environments.
“We became to embrace the world through film, especially international films. I grew up with my mom taking me to foreign films, mostly European films — and neither of us have been out of the country so there’s France, there’s Italy, there’s Japan, there’s the Philippines,” she recalled concluding.
For those who are unaware, Jodie Foster is the executive producer of the crime drama in addition to portraying one of the key roles in it.
