Ehab Al-Ghussein was assigned three months ago to oversee the Hamas government’s operations in Gaza City and the northern region of the Gaza Strip, a local official told the news.
“Terrorists were operating and hiding” in the vicinity of a school building in Gaza City, according to an Israeli army strike.
It claims to have taken action to reduce the possibility of harm coming to civilians.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident happened in front of the Holy Family Church and School, which is located west of Gaza City.
The news has learned that a large number of individuals were taking refuge in the structure.
According to them, two ground-level classrooms were the focus of the airstrike.
Ehab Al-Ghussein was a spokesman for the interior ministry prior to serving as the Hamas administration’s deputy labor minister. Although his passing isn’t seen as a military setback for Hamas, he was a key member of the Hamas administration’s leadership.
In the last nine months, many more Hamas officials have lost their lives.
The deputy culture minister and the deputy speaker of the legislative council, along with other government workers and officials and top police officers, were all slain in an Israeli airstrike in November of last year.
