ISLAMABAD: In a case concerning the postponement of the local body polls in Punjab, the Election Commission of Pakistan announced on Wednesday that the final week of December 2025 will see local government elections in the most populous province in the nation.
The ECP bench, which is led by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Raja Sultan, also decided that the delimitation procedure should begin on Thursday. Within two months, the delimitation procedure will be finished.
Babar Hassan Bharwana, Shah Muhammad Jatoi, and Nisar Durrani are additional members of the ECP bench.
