Pakistan’s Asim makes easy progress to the quarterfinals of the Charlottesville Open Squash.

After a demanding five-game match that lasted sixty minutes, Asim Khan defeated Elnawasany of Egypt.

In a closely contested second-round match, Muhammad Asim Khan of Pakistan pulled off a stunning upset on Thursday at the Charlottesville Open Squash Tournament in Virginia, USA, defeating Yahya Elnawasany of Egypt, the #2 seed.

Khan, who was not ranked, advanced to the quarterfinals with the victory.

After a demanding 60-minute five-game match, Khan defeated Elnawasany. With scores of 11-7, 4-11, 11-6, 7-11, and 11-7, he declared victory and showed incredible tenacity to outlast his Egyptian opponent and secure his place in the following round.

Khan advances to the quarterfinals with this victory, where he hopes to build on his impressive showing.

The athlete showed his happiness after the game, saying that this victory had increased his confidence for the remainder of the competition.
