Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), met with a group from the International Cricket Council (ICC) to discuss the arrangements for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy Tournament, which would take place in Pakistan.
In-depth talks of the tournament’s security procedures took place during the meeting, and the ICC team expressed satisfaction with the safeguards in place at important locations in Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Islamabad.
The security arrangements were deemed “satisfactory” by the delegation.
The ICC delegation was given the assurance by Mohsin Naqvi that the stadium renovations will be finished well in advance of the Champions Trophy. He emphasized that Pakistan is dedicated to provide all participating teams protection that is on par with the highest standards on a global scale, guaranteeing that players may enjoy the competition in a calm and secure setting.
