The inaugural Champions Cup schedule was released on Wednesday by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The event will begin at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad on September 12 and go until September 29, according to the details. There will be 150 participants in the domestic competition. The tournament will commence with a matchup between the Panthers and the Wolves.
The 50-over competition will be conducted according to a single league. The Dolphins, Stallions, and Lions will compete in the domestic white-ball event in addition to the Panthers and Wolves.
The PCB had previously disclosed who the five teams’ mentors were. The mentors of the team will include wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed, former captain Misbahul Haq, famous spinner Saqlain Mushtaq, ace all-rounder Shoaib Malik, and former fast bowler Waqar Younis.
