PM: Broke the begging bowl as countries prospered by labor rather than aid.

On Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared that he had broken the begging bowl because no country has ever succeeded in wealth with help or the begging bowl—only through hard work and sacrifice.

“My days of traveling to a friendly nation with a bowl of food to beg are long gone. I cracked that dish. No way will the bowl take us here. When was the last time bowls and help brought prosperity to a nation? He remarked, “Only the nations made their mark and left indelible footprints through sacrifice, hard work, sweat, and blood,” during his day-long tour to this place and roundtable discussion on “Innovate together: UAE-Pakistan Tech Collaboration.”
