Nick Read will remain the organization’s leader after the independent evaluation, according to the organization.
Mr. Staunton, who was fired in January and had his dismissal made public by the News, made several accusations regarding the contents of the report, including that Mr. Read had threatened to resign over his salary and that he had been the target of bullying.

The Post Office issued a statement in which it stated that an independent lawyer was looking “into various allegations, which included a number of misconduct allegations against our CEO, Nick Read” in response to a Speak Up complaint.
It continued, saying: “After multiple interviews and document review by the attorney, Nick has been cleared of all charges of impropriety and has the board’s unwavering support to carry on running the company.
