Iranian and Turkish presidents congratulated Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shehbaz Sharif on his second election as prime minister, Radio Pakistan reported Monday.
In a telephone discussion, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan facilitated Shehbaz, expressing his conviction that relations between Ankara and Islamabad will strengthen and flourish in the next years.
The call also touched on Turkey-Pakistan relations, as well as regional and global problems.
Meanwhile, Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi congratulated Shehbaz Sharif on his election as Prime Minister of Pakistan.
