The founder of News and former head of Fox and News Corp., Elena Zhukova, is a retired molecular biologist who he intends to marry.
A representative for the media tycoon said on Thursday that the nuptials would take place in California, at Mr. Murdoch’s winery and residence in Moraga.
Ms. Zhukova, a 67-year-old Moscow native, was stated to be the subject of the original story by news.
He canceled his engagement to Ann Lesley Smith, a former police chaplain in San Francisco, last year.
The 93-year-old Mr. Murdoch separated from his fourth wife, Jerry Hall, in August 2022.
Entrepreneur Wendi Deng was his former spouse, with whom he got divorced in 2014 after 14 years of union. Together, they are parents to two girls.
