The commissioner of Karachi has declared Tuesday, April 23, to be a public holiday.
The officials said in a statement released on Sunday that all public and commercial offices as well as schools will be closed in the city.
The notification states that the public holiday has been declared due to the coming of foreign dignitaries.
“In view of the visit of Foreign Dignitaries and to avoid inconvenience to the general public, Tuesday, the 23™ April, 2024 is hereby declared as Public Holiday in Karachi Division,” stated the announcement.
