One victim’s father has a “sinister theory” about what might have happened before his sons’ unexplained deaths, while the families of three deceased Kansas City Chiefs fans await the findings of their loved ones’ toxicology reports.
Two days after they had gathered at their friend Jordan Willis’ house to watch the Chiefs play the Los Angeles Chargers, the bodies of Ricky Johnson, 38; Clayton McGeeney, 36; and David Harrington, 37, were found.
Willis’s representative claims that his client was unaware that the men were outside and only learned of the bodies when police arrived at the Northwest 83rd Terrace residence a few days later.
According to his attorney John Picerno, he claimed that after the party, he slept for almost 48 hours while the relatives of the departed fans attempted to get in touch with him and even visited his house.
“Not buying” that story, according to Harrington’s father Jon Harrington, who spoke with Fox News Digital, adding that he “doesn’t believe anything [Willis’] attorney says.”
SPEAKING OUT, BROTHER OF CHIEFS FAN FOUND DEAD IN FRIEND’S BACKYARD SAYS STORY ‘NOT ADDING UP’
The elder Harrington stated on Thursday, “[Harrington’s mother] and I are both convinced that Jordan Willis played a part in this somehow.” Simply put, we still don’t know how…. What other possibility is there? Men in perfect health do not appear out of thin air.”
Three of the four of you that were in the house are now dead, but you are still alive. That doesn’t make sense,” the father went on. “I believe that after the three of them discovered something or saw something improper, he concluded, ‘Well, I need to get rid of you now.'” pals or not.”
