KARACHI: Syed Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, has named ten special assistants to the chief minister (SACM) effective immediately.
A notification states that CM Murad appointed Sarfraz Rajar, Usman Ghani, Rajvir Singh Sodha, Syed Waqar Mehdi, Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar, and Dr. Lal Chand Ukrani. His special helpers were Yaqoob Hingoro, Abdul Jabbar Khan, Muhammad Saleem Baloch, and Junaid Buland.
Additionally, CM Murad selected six more provincial government spokespersons, bringing the total number of spokespersons to eight.
The provincial cabinet now has 18 members after the chief minister added eight more ministers to his roster earlier in April.
Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, Mohammad Ali Malkani, Makhdoom Mahboob-uz-Zaman, Dost Mohammad Rahimoon, and Makhdoom Mahboob-uz-Zaman were the eight new provincial ministers.
The oath was given to the ministers by Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori during a ceremony at the Governor House.
