DI KHAN: According to police on Friday, a horrific traffic accident on Dera Ismail Khan’s Dana Sar traffic in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa claimed the lives of twelve members of a nomadic family and injured three more.
Police say that a mini-truck carrying the family from Khanuzai, Balochistan, crashed down a deep ravine at Dana Sar after its brakes apparently failed.
When the tragedy occurred, the unfortunate family was on their way to DI Khan to spend the winter there.
Three men, women, and children were among the dead, according to police confirmation. Before being sent to the hospital for more care, the three injured received first aid on the spot.
