Five members of the same family lost their life in a horrific road accident on the Hazara Motorway on Tuesday when a trailer struck their automobile close to the Shah Maqsood Interchange.
A representative for the Motorway Police said the collision happened when a speeding trailer struck a Toyota Corolla from behind, causing it to collide with another trailer up ahead.
Three men and two women were among the five passengers who perished instantly due to the impact’s extreme severity.
Victims traveling to Islamabad from Gilgit
Raza Saleem, 39, a Gilgit resident, and his family members were recognized as the victims. When the disaster occurred, they were on their way to Rawalpindi.
Shortly after the collision, Motorway Police and Rescue 1122 units arrived on the scene.
