Five soldiers were slain Monday during a clearance operation in the Sherbandi area of Kech district after a landmine exploded next to a security forces vehicle, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The raid also killed five terrorists with Indian support.

ISPR reports that the explosion happened in Sherbandi during a clearance operation by security personnel. The operation’s goal was to eliminate local terrorist hideouts.
