Afghan women undergoing midwifery and nursing training have reported that they were warned not to go back to school in the morning, so cutting off their final opportunity to pursue higher education in the nation.
Videos of students sobbing at the announcement have been circulated online, and five different Afghan colleges have verified to the media that the Taliban had ordered them to close till further notice.
The Taliban government’s health ministry has not yet formally confirmed the directive, according to the news.
