Temporary Court Protection Granted
Pop star Sabrina Carpenter has been granted a temporary court order after a series of alarming incidents at her home in Los Angeles. The order was approved after she reported repeated unwanted visits and security threats.
A judge issued the protection order after reviewing her statement and supporting evidence. The order requires the accused man to stay away from her home, vehicle, and workplace.
Repeated Visits at Her Home
Court documents state that the man tried to enter her home during multiple visits. He allegedly appeared outside her property on several occasions within a short time period.
During one incident, he reportedly crossed onto a neighbor property and approached her front door. He rang the doorbell and refused to leave until law enforcement arrived and arrested him.
Carpenter stated that he falsely claimed he knew her and insisted she was expecting him. She rejected this claim in her legal statement.
Ongoing Fear and Emotional Stress
In her court declaration, Carpenter said the repeated incidents caused serious emotional distress. She described feeling unsafe in her own home due to the man’s behavior.
She also stated that he returned again within a day of one incident and later stayed near her home for hours. On another occasion, he was seen parked outside her residence.
Her legal request included protection for her sister and her sister partner, who live with her.
Police Assessment and Court Action
A law enforcement officer involved in the case stated that the behavior appeared obsessive and focused on the singer. Authorities described the conduct as persistent and concerning.
The court granted a temporary restraining order that requires the man to maintain distance from Carpenter and her residence. A further court hearing is scheduled in the coming weeks, while a related criminal trespassing case is also pending.
