A public notice has been released by Sindh’s Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department requiring all private and commercial vehicles in the province to have their license plates replaced.
The notification states that business cars must have yellow number plates with the same Ajrak pattern, while all private vehicles must now have white number plates with an Ajrak-inspired design.
Black number plates on commercial cars and yellow number plates on individual automobiles will no longer be permitted after April 3, 2025. The purpose of this decision is to provide uniform identification and improve vehicle safety measures.
