As the presidential campaign heats up ahead of November, Democratic strategist James Carville advised the media not to treat the former president Trump like a normal candidate.

“This election is not like any other,” Carville stated on MSNBC on Wednesday.

Carville expressed dissatisfaction over the “massive effort” to legitimize Trump’s presidential bid before drawing comparisons between the front-runner Republican and Hermann Goering, the head of the Nazi military and a close aide to Adolf Hitler.

Third-party candidate James Carrille predicts receiving “a lot of f—ing votes” in 2024.

Regarding Trump’s treatment by the media, Carville stated, “There is nothing normal about this at all.” “And if you watch his speech last night, it was completely unhinged.”

Carville stated, “What I am obsessed with is, stop treating him like a normal candidate,” highlighting the differences between Trump and other Republican politicians as well as previous GOP nominees Mitt Romney and Bob Dole.

“But if you look at this, there is a chance that Trump could win this election,” he said. “And the way that he wins is he is treated as a normal candidate.”

According to numerous polls, Trump is ahead of Biden in several crucial voter demographics and battleground states, including among young voters, where he leads by a 13-point margin, according to a Fox News poll.

In the general election of 2024, 41% of respondents under 30 said they would vote for Trump, 28% for Biden, 14% for Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., 7% for Jill Stein, and 5% for Cornel West. In that case, Trump was also preferred by those under 45, who said they would vote for him 41% of the time compared to 31% for Biden.
