Jeremy Renner seemed to have conflicting thoughts about committing himself entirely to acting again after fracturing thirty bones in a snowplow accident, particularly when it comes to starting filming for the third season of The Mayor of Kingstown.
In an open conversation with People, the Marvel star discussed his conflicting feelings over the Paramount+ project.
“I don’t know if I’m looking forward to it, “he said. Here, I attempt to take things one step at a time. One foot in front of the other is what that means. Then you start to move.”
“I think I’m excited when I’m there and I get in a rhythm there,” the Mission Impossible star said. I’m thrilled about the character and the plot and everyone involved, of course, but personally, However, I simply lack faith in my work.”
The 53-year-old said the show took too long to complete and said that 14 to 18-hour workdays were spent filming “in the freezing cold outside in Pittsburgh.”
Along with talking about the “arduous” filming process, Jeremy said that he is still recovering and that he is “scared of slipping and falling” because his “lower body strength” is not as strong as it once was.
The celebrated actor did, however, express his excitement about the Mayor of Kingstown shooting. “I think I’m excited when I’m there and I get in a rhythm there.”
“I’m excited about the character and all the people involved in the storyline, of course,” the speaker continued, “but I’m just hesitant to be confident.”
