While heated arguments between opposing political parties on television shows are not uncommon, actual physical altercations between them are uncommon.
During a live national TV channel program, Naeem Haider Panjutha of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Ikhtiar Wali Khan of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) got into a heated argument and made serious accusations, which resulted in a scuffle.
The footage of their wrestling, in which Khan is seen pushing Panjutha and grabbing him by the shoulder, is doing the rounds on social media. Panjutha then gets up from his seat and begins the fight. Before being split up, the politicians threw punches and kicks at one another.
