About 40 Hindu pilgrims who traveled from the Indian state of Gujarat to Pakistan to participate in religious rites have now returned home with broken hearts amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.
As they left, the pilgrims, who were lodging at the Maheshwari Jamaat Khana in Karachi, expressed their profound sadness. With heartfelt words like “Our heart is in Pakistan,” many of them expressed their sincere prayers for peace between the two neighbors. They hoped for better relations and insisted that there should be no conflict.
The pilgrims will not be able to attend Badin’s main religious celebration on April 30 due to the worsening circumstances.
