In addition to other charges, 32-year-old Justin Mohn faces murder and abuse of a corpse after his father was discovered dead inside a Middletown Township, Bucks County, house on Tuesday.
Following allegations of a decapitated body, police were called to the 100 block of Upper Orchard Drive at approximately 7:00 p.m., according to ABC6.
The victim, who was in his 60s, was discovered dead in an upstairs bathroom when the police arrived, however the cause of death has not yet been established.
Mohn left in his father’s car, according to Middletown Township Police Chief Joe Bartorilla.
Unsettling social media footage that may be related to the investigation has been verified by police; in it, Mohn is seen threatening federal officials and alleging to have killed his father.
Mohn called his father a “traitor” and showed happiness with his passing in the since-deleted video. He also went on the attack, accusing the government and “far-left woke mobs” of being behind him. His father had worked for the federal government for a long period.
While the horrifying occurrence is being investigated, Mohr was taken into custody near Fort Indiantown Gap, which is approximately 100 miles away from the crime scene.
According to Bartorilla, the son resided in the Levittown house on Upper Orchard Drive. The father hasn’t been identified yet.
Mohn is being jailed without bond after being charged early on Wednesday morning.
Furthermore, the killing’s motivation is still being looked into.
A preliminary hearing for Mohn is set for February 8 at 9:00 a.m.
