Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt lavished lavish accolades on Pakistani icon and former bowler Wasim Akram, dubbed the “god of cricket.”
Speaking at an event, Dutt mentioned that he had not seen Akram in a long time.
The Bollywood star stated that Akram is a brother he has known for many years before calling him the “god of cricket” during an address at the inauguration of an event featuring digital money.
Being here with Wasim bhai is an honor. “I have known him for a long time as a brother, and he is among the best cricket players I have ever seen,” Dutt continued.
“Thank you, Wasim Bhai, the deity of cricket. God, and his backward swing! He would make everyone terrified.
The 57-year-old posted a photo of himself and his friend on his X, formerly Twitter, account, expressing how happy he was to have met Dutt.
“Fantastic to see my friend Sanjay Dutt almost ten years later, modest as ever…#kahlnayak,” Akram wrote on X.
