Over the weekend, a columnist reported that President Biden had called Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu a “bad f—ing guy” in private. The White House refuted this story.

Politico columnist Jonathan Martin warned Biden of leftist ire over his actions, writing, “Like everyone in the administration and any Democrat with a pulse, he’s highly wary of Benjamin Netanyahu, and has privately branded the Israeli prime minister a “bad f—ing guy.”

Declaring that “the president did not say that, nor would he,” Biden spokesperson Andrew Bates refuted the remarks to Politico, adding that he and Netanyahu have “a decades-long relationship that is respectful in public and in private.”

After the shooting of a US teen, Biden sanctions Israeli settlers in the West Bank.

Martin stated that Biden has a “deep-seated fear” that Netanyahu will use American involvement in the Israel-Hamas conflict “to drag the U.S. into a wider war in the Middle East, a conflict that would ensure American weapons keep flowing to the region, troops soon follow, and, in the maelstrom, his domestic political difficulties and international pressure on him to agree to a Gaza cease-fire both dissipate.”

Martin stated that it is “hard to overstate how contemptuous even staunchly pro-Israel Democratic lawmakers have become of Netanyahu.”

“After dinner with other lawmakers, it was unanimous that Biden needed to confront Bibi and that this Israel-Gaza war needed to end now,” the House Democrat told Martin.

Martin was informed by the same Democratic congressman that “this is a disaster politically.” “The base is furious, and not just leftists are.” The level of agony surrounding the Gaza conflict is unlike anything I have ever witnessed. Many Democratic voters find Bibi poisonous, therefore Biden ought to cut ties with him immediately.”

Ex-Obama administration officials have also criticized Biden for his reelection campaign and open endorsement of Netanyahu.

Former Obama official and podcast host Tommy Vietor stated, “When your public and private messaging aren’t aligned, you create political challenges for yourself.” “People don’t see Joe Biden chewing out Bibi on the phone.”
