The actor, who previously played in Billy Elliot The Musical as a child, will be making his stage debut as an adult.
Jamie Lloyd, who most recently oversaw the revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard, starring Nicole Scherzinger, will direct the piece.
The Duke of York’s Theatre will host the production from May 11 to August 3.

The 27-year-old actor’s most well-known role is that of the title character in the most recent Spider-Man superhero films, such as Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Although the Juliet role in the play has not yet been revealed, the organizers promised to provide more casting details when they could.
Holland has also acted in TV shows like the historical drama Wolf Hall and the psychological thriller The Crowded Room.
The actor announced in June 2023 that he would be taking a year-long sabbatical from performing to take care of his mental health. His first acting part following the announcement will be this one.

Actor Josh O’Connor from The Crown and Irish actress Jessie Buckley recently starred in a TV production of the play that was recorded at the National Theatre in 2021.
