LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) have agreed to form a coalition government in the Centre and Punjab, after PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif met with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and former President Asif Ali Zardari and invited them to work together for Pakistan.

Shehbaz met with prominent PPP leaders at the residence of Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi. According to party sources, Shehbaz discussed future government formation with Zardari and conveyed a message from PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif. Shehbaz requested that the two PPP leaders meet with the PML-N leadership to ensure Pakistan’s political and economic stability.

According to sources, Zardari and Shehbaz agreed to form a government in Punjab and at the central, with both parties presenting their proposals.

then, after reciprocal deliberation, finalize all aspects of the power-sharing arrangement, including who will hold which offices and where. The meeting took 45 minutes.

On Friday, PML-N Quaid and former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif called all political parties to establish a coalition government to save the country.

Earlier, while addressing party workers in Model Town, Nawaz Sharif stated that the PML-N had emerged as the largest party in the poll. Shehbaz Sharif, PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz, and other party officials were present.

“I believe that it is our responsibility to pull the country out of the vortex; we encourage everyone to help us in pulling Pakistan out of trouble. Let’s sit together, since everyone knows who has done what for the country.”

The three-time former prime minister stated that everyone was aware of the PML-N’s track record and that it was “our duty to pull this country out of the vortex.”

“We all respect the mandates of other parties, whether they be political parties or independent individuals. We encourage them to join us in bringing Pakistan out of its challenges, since our agenda is for a flourishing Pakistan,” he said. Nawaz claimed that the PML-N had been given the mandate and knew how to get the country out of its economic problems.

He emphasized the importance of all parties working together to put the country first. He stated that lawmakers, parliamentarians, Pakistani military, and the media should all play good roles.

“At least ten years are required for the country’s stability. Pakistan cannot afford to fight at this time. “We have to sit together and settle things,” he insisted. Nawaz announced the creation of a coalition government in the lack of a simple majority, and Shehbaz Sharif was tasked with meeting with Asif Ali Zardari, Fazlur Rehman, and Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.

“We do not wish to clash with any party. Pakistan can’t afford it. Given the current circumstances, Pakistan requires at least a decade of stability. We cannot afford to hold elections repeatedly,” Nawaz stated.

He waved to the ecstatic workers proclaiming their love for their boss in chorus, saying: “I love you too and can see the light and sparkle in you eyes.
