The statement further reads: “Thank you to the Whistler Blackcomb Adaptive Programme for educating us.
Kansas City Chiefs players such as tight end Travis Kelce, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and linebacker Drue Tranquill, among others, spoke out following the sad shooting that killed one and injured over 20 people during their Super Bowl triumph parade at Kansas City’s famous Union Station on Wednesday.

Kelce said he was “heartbroken” after his team’s Super Bowl parade became violent.

“I am heartbroken by the tragedy that occurred today,” Kelce tweeted on X, formerly Twitter. “My heart goes out to everyone who came to celebrate with us and has been affected. “KC, you mean everything to me.”

Meanwhile, Mahomes took to X, saying, “Praying for Kansas City”.

The statement further reads: “Thank you to the Whistler Blackcomb Adaptive Programme for educating us.
Tranquill also wrote on X, “Please join me in prayer for all the victims of this heinous act.”

Donna Kelce, the mother of the Chiefs’ tight end, also said that the squad was hustled back to Arrowhead Stadium “really fast” following the incident.

“Everybody who was with the team, they got us out of there really fast,” she told the Kansas City Star.

Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas reported that all Chiefs players and personnel were safe and accounted for after the shooting.

The Chiefs’ Vice President of Content and Production, Robert G. Alberino Jr., acknowledged that the organization’s production crew, game day crew cheer team, flag team, and mascots were all present.
