As King Charles and Kate Middleton rest at Sandringham, Queen Camilla continues her royal duties.
The Queen commemorated the 100th anniversary of the Poppy Factory on Thursday.
She invited Poppy Factory colleagues, long-time friends, and partners, as well as veterans and family members who have surmounted obstacles and had their lives changed thanks to Clarence House.
The palace posted a video of the queen with the message, “100 Years of the Poppy Factory!”
The Poppy Factory was established in 1922 to provide civilian employment for wounded, sick, and disabled soldiers of World War I.
Today, in Richmond, a thriving community of veterans and families has been developed to make Remembrance poppies and wreaths.
Queen Camilla has been working in the charity for ten years.
Earlier on Wednesday, King Charles waved to supporters as he returned to his Norfolk home at Sandringham, where Kate Middleton is also recovering from stomach surgery.
