On Friday, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and three freshly elected MNAs discussed the country’s political condition.
Ali Muhammad Khan, Aamir Dogar, and Latif Khosa visited the PTI founder in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.
On this occasion, issues concerning the party’s future strategy following the elections were addressed.
- PTI and JI resume discussions on alliance, government formation –
Earlier, it was claimed that the PTI and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) have resumed contact, indicating a possible rekindling of their political alliance. A meeting between the heads of both parties is slated for later Friday evening in Islamabad.
The gathering, which is scheduled to bring together representatives from both PTI and Jamaat-e-Islami, intends to explore avenues of partnership and debate issues.
The next round of talks begins when PTI leader Aamir Dogar allegedly contacted Jamaat-e-Islami spokesperson Qaisar Sharif to begin discussions. Sharif quoted Dogar as adding that the PTI’s negotiation team, led by Asad Qaiser, requested to meet with the JI’s leadership.
