At the 2024 BAFTAs, Oppenheimer, Poor Things, and The Zone of Interest all took home significant prizes, with Christopher Nolan winning his first director’s award. Here are all of the evening’s highlights.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Hannah Waddingham performed musically on the show, and Nick Mohammed’s character Mr. Swallow performed a comedic skit. Plus, Michael Sheen’s dog made an unexpected appearance.

Michael Sheen, Georgia Tennant, Stanley Tucci, Himesh Patel, Tom Hiddleston, and Dame Judi Dench were among the guests that appeared in a sketch that was introduced by first-time host David Tennant.
In the pre-recorded sketch, Tennant unsuccessfully attempted to hire a dog sitter for Sheen’s dog, Bark Ruffalo.
