Margaret Boyce describes herself as reserved, soft-spoken, and most definitely not a “crier”.
Days before her first in-vitro fertilization (IVF) visit, she had been taking fertility medicines for ten months when the justices of Alabama’s highest court completely turned her life upside down.
She now turns to the Bible every day for consolation after their decision, which forced numerous fertility clinics to halt operations.
The 32-year-old is facing infertility for the second time around; she and her spouse have a little boy. The dream has always been to start a family.
“There are three of us. “I think having a sibling is the best gift you can give your child,” she remarked.
“The journey to becoming parents is different for every single couple – mentally, emotionally and financially,” she stated with tears in her eyes.
