Billy Porter is mourning the passing of his mother, Cloerinda Jean Johnson Porter-Ford, as the actor published a “heartbroken” tribute on social media.
The American Horror Story star made a joint Instagram post on his and his late mother’s accounts to share the heartbreaking news of her death, as well as a slideshow of beloved memories of him and his sister Mary Martha Ford with Cloerinda.
The actor, who was present when his mother breathed her last, wrote, “With heavy hearts, we announce the demise of our lovely mother, Cloerinda Jean Johnson Porter-Ford. We were right alongside her when she breathed her last, wrapped in our arms.”
