According to a source, King Charles has been keeping a brave face while battling cancer that has the potential to spread to his other organs.
Even though the monarch’s disease was detected early, insiders are concerned that his condition will worsen, according to In Touch Weekly.
They went on to say, “Although word is the cancer was caught early, there’s concern it could turn into something worse and possibly spread to other organs, which could be a death sentence.”
While King Charles appears to be in good condition during public appearances, the source stated, “How he feels behind the scenes is another thing,” adding, “Of course he must be worried.”
The royal insider went on to say that “the Firm is preparing for the worst,” as they seek to update plans for his funeral, dubbed “Operation Menai Bridge.”
“Charles understands that it’s the expected thing to do, as he’s the king,” the source claimed, admitting that he’s doing everything he can to “prolong his reign.”
Ingrid Seward disclosed in her royal biography, My Mother and I, that Charles sleeps in an oxygen tent to improve his health.
She claimed that the monarchy suffers from short-term memory loss and keeps a notebook to record crucial information.
