ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) voiced optimism for a breakthrough on Friday after meeting with the leadership of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F).
PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, whose party is poised to lead the next coalition government, met with JUI-F Emir Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence in Islamabad.
Fazl’s party, which is determined to sit on the opposition benches, has refused to acknowledge the results of the February 8 elections, claiming that they were rigged.
