The Karachi Kings’ playoff status remained intact after defeating Quetta Gladiators by seven wickets in the 22nd match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine on Wednesday at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
After suffering three consecutive losses, the team captained by Shan Masood dominated Quetta by holding them to 118 runs after opting to bowl first, successfully chasing down the mark in the 16th over.
The chase got off to a bad start as Shan (7) was removed by Mohammad Amir. But Tim Siefert and James Vince had different plans. They set up a 50-run stand, with Seifert being the most aggressive.
