Indonesia’s Batik Air faces an inquiry after pilots fall asleep during flight.

Both guys were provisionally suspended after falling asleep on a trip from Sulawesi to Jakarta on January 25.

One of them was apparently exhausted from caring for his newborn twins.

The Airbus A320 temporarily swerved off course before landing successfully, with all 153 passengers and crew members unhurt.

The 32-year-old captain had instructed his co-pilot to take charge of the aircraft around half an hour after takeoff, stating that he needed to rest. The 28-year-old co-pilot concurred, according to a transport ministry report.
