KARACHI: Most parts of Karachi saw light showers on Sunday morning, making the weather more comfortable ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.

II Chundrigar Road, Saddar, North Karachi, Nazimabad, Korangi, Landhi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Shahra-e-Faisal, and Clifton were among the locations that experienced a drizzle.

The light rain has also dampened the National Stadium in Karachi ahead of today’s Pakistan Super League (PSL) match between the Quetta Gladiators and the Lahore Qalandars at 7 p.m.

Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz predicted drizzle and light showers today owing to westerly winds. He stated that the weather in the megalopolis would likely remain partly overcast on Monday.

Sarfraz predicted that the skies would clear by Tuesday, with temperatures rising to 32°C.

He stated that the temperature during the first ten days of Ramadan would be consistent with the regular March average.

According to the Met Office, the Ramadan moon will be born at 2 p.m. on Sunday and might be seen the following day when it will be more than 28 hours old.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted that the weather in Karachi would stay gloomy for the next 24 hours, with drizzling possible on Sunday and Monday.
