Pakistan Railways releases the timings for Ramadan.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways has announced its ticket booking office hours for the holy month of Ramadan.

According to the specifics, a representative for Pakistan Railways said in a statement that ticket booking offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday during the first 15 days of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak.

Citizens could purchase tickets for the afternoon shift Monday through Friday from 1 to 6 p.m.
There will be a prayer break on Friday between 12:30 and 2:00 p.m. After the 15th of Ramadan, the reservation office will be open until 9 p.m., with an Iftar break.

Earlier in the day, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) altered its office and business hours for the month of Ramadan 2024.

“During the ensuing month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak 1445 A.H., the following office hours will be observed in the State Bank of Pakistan, which will also be followed by all banks / DFIs / MFBs,” according to a press release.

From Monday to Thursday, the SBP will hold office hours from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a prayer break between 2 and 2:30 p.m. Office hours on Friday will be 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., with no break.
