The Missouri Lottery has given an unnamed woman a prize after she tried her luck with the same numbers for forty years.


According to a news release from the Missouri Lottery, the fortunate winner, who hails from Pulaski County, used the exact nine numbers that matched on her 9-spot ticket.

According to the press release, the winner’s son examined the ticket at the retail location and was taken aback when the clerk informed him that she was unable to cash it.
