The Pakistan Deaf Cricket Team, led by Zaka Ahmed Qureshi, won the Deaf International Cricket Council (DICC) T20 World Cup 2024, which took place at Cricket Vision Centre in Sharjah, UAE, from March 6 to March 12.
The fourth edition of the DICC T20 World Cup featured six nations: Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Australia. The Pakistan Deaf Cricket Team stayed unbeaten throughout the competition.
The Pakistan Deaf Cricket Team defeated Sri Lanka in the event final by 100 runs. After scoring 162 runs, Pakistan’s Deaf Cricket Team bowlers dismissed Sri Lanka for 62 in 16 overs.
