According to UNRWA director Philippe Lazzarini, Israel informed the UN that convoys would no longer be permitted.
It follows Israel’s accusation that twelve UNRWA employees took part in the terror attack by Hamas in October. Nine employees who were charged were let go.
The United States and the United Kingdom are two of the nations that have stopped sponsoring the organization; however, Canada and Australia have subsequently started contributing again.
On Sunday, Mr. Lazzarini stated on the news, “This is outrageous and makes it intentional to obstruct life-saving assistance during a man-made famine.”
“These restrictions must be lifted.”
Israel did not answer the allegations right away.

"Outrageous" is how the president of the UN's Palestinian refugee agency described Israel's decision to stop delivering aid to the northern part of Gaza.
