Karachi: According to sources who spoke to the News on Tuesday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reached out to former New Zealand wicketkeeper batsman Luke Ronchi to serve as the head coach of the national team.
The sources also stated that Ronchi, who is the assistant coach for New Zealand at the moment, has requested some time to consider the possibility of leading the Men in Green.
It is important to remember that Ronchi, who has represented both Australia and New Zealand, declined the PCB’s invitation to coach the Men in Green before Bradburn was given the position in question.
This comes after PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi stated last week that the board was creating a suitable panel for the coaches, who were in the final stages of the selection process.
