The World Central Kitchen in Gaza reported that seven employees had died as a result of an Israeli airstrike. The Israeli military declared on Tuesday that an impartial, expert committee will look into the matter.
Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, a spokesman for the Israeli military, stated that the event will be looked at by the “Fact Finding and Assessment Mechanism,” which he described as a “independent, professional, and expert body” without providing any specifics.
He claimed to have spoken with Chef Jose Anders, the founder of WCK, and to have offered his sincere sympathies.
