Mercedes will have a vacancy in 2025 when Lewis Hamilton joins Ferrari, and Vettel is familiar with the F1 environment.
Vettel said to news Radio Live, “I’m thinking about [a return] and I’m having thoughts that are crossing my mind.”
“But at this stage, my mindset generally hasn’t changed so it really depends on what’s coming up.”
In response to a direct question concerning Mercedes, Vettel said, “I watch the sport and right now there’s quite a lot of movement when it comes to drivers, driver market and so on.
