Maulana Fazlur Rehman of the JUI-F has reportedly indicated his intention to join the anti-government movement, according to sources close to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan. Important party figures including Asad Qaiser, Barrister Gohar, and Omar Ayub have also been assigned by him to have conversations with the Maulana about working together on the cause.
According to opposition sources, Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s party, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), is anticipated to take the lead in launching the anti-government campaigns after Eid.
Soon after Eidul Fitr, Maulana Fazlur Rehman is scheduled to meet with opposition leaders Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Akhtar Mengal, Asad Qaiser, Barrister Gohar, Omar Ayub, and others.It is anticipated that the main topic of discussion during this meeting will be making an offer to Maulana Fazl to lead the opposition coalition opposing the movement.
