She talked about her early experiences in the Indian entertainment industry, including food insecurity, mental health issues, and exploitation, in a recent interview.

In a recent interview with India Today, Fatehi revealed that she had only Rs 5,000 when she traveled to India and had no idea what kind of financial hardships lay ahead for her.

The Bollywood dancer claimed that after arriving in Mumbai, the vibrant city of Maharashtra, she discovered that, in addition to her own mental strain, she was living in a small two-room apartment with nine other girls who were also struggling with mental health concerns.

She related instances when she was forced to live on low rations, such as bread and a single egg, because she couldn’t afford healthy meals.

Fatehi found navigating the obstacles of establishing a job to be extremely exhausting, to the point where she felt the need for therapy.
