Two years ago, Taylor, 37, won a split decision against Serrano in a lightweight classic that will never be forgotten.
Now that Taylor is the unchallenged light-welterweight champion, Serrano will be moving up in weight to take on the Irish fighter.
At Dallas’ AT&T Stadium, the eagerly awaited rematch will serve as the co-main event alongside Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson.
“This is the rematch the world has wanted to see,” Taylor stated.
“The first fight in New York was obviously an epic occasion and it more than lived up to the billing, and I’m sure the rematch will be no different.”
After defeating Serrano, Taylor advanced to light-welterweight and lost to Chantelle for the first time ever.
